Monvic Events 2024: A Year of Climbing, Passion, and Adventure
2024 has been an extraordinary year for Monvic, filled with events, new adventures, and unforgettable moments. Once again, we had the opportunity to participate in some of the most important climbing festivals and competitions in Italy and Europe, and we didn’t miss a single one. We brought our enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors to every event. Here’s a recap of the events Monvic took part in.
Melloblocco
The season kicked off in style with our long-awaited return to where it all began for Monvic in 2007, in the stunning mountains of Val Masino. Melloblocco is one of the largest international bouldering gatherings, attracting climbers from all over the world, ready to challenge themselves on natural blocks. Monvic was there with its stand, filled with colorful t-shirts, hoodies, and our famous extra-durable tailored pants, beloved by climbers for their versatility and strength. The days were a perfect mix of climbing, good weather, nature, and conversations between old and new friends.
Finale For Nepal
This event, beyond being a celebration of climbing, is dedicated to solidarity, with a strong focus on supporting projects in Nepal. Monvic was present with its colorful stand, where we had the chance to meet many enthusiasts, climbers, and outdoor lovers, as well as curious tourists. Our products, synonymous with versatility and quality, were a hit. The atmosphere was unique, with the sea just a stone’s throw away and a community sharing the values of respect and love for nature.
Chamonix Climbing World Cup
The highlight of the summer took us to Chamonix, where we witnessed the spectacular World Climbing Cup stage. Speed and Lead took center stage, with the best climbers in the world competing at the foot of Mont Blanc. Monvic couldn’t miss it, with its stand full of energy and products designed for climbing and sport lovers. It was an exciting moment, surrounded by breathtaking views and pure adrenaline. Our designs won over many international visitors who hadn’t yet discovered our brand.
Trofeo Kima
Even though it’s not a climbing event, the Trofeo Kima is a race that Monvic couldn’t overlook. Pioneers in taking part from the very beginning, in the heart of Val Masino, this skyrunning competition is one of the most technical and spectacular in the world. Monvic was there to support the athletes in this extreme challenge, with clothing designed to tackle the most difficult mountain conditions and special designs dedicated to the race. An event that attracted some of the best international trail runners and left a lasting impression.
Frasassi Climbing Festival
In September, we returned to the heart of the Marche region for the Frasassi Climbing Festival. This event combines climbing, adventure, and culture, with workshops, conferences, and plenty of fun. Monvic brought a new line of clothing designed for outdoor activities and climbing. Our stand was a true meeting point for many enthusiasts and friends. The Frasassi Caves and the surrounding landscapes provided an incredible setting for climbing in a unique context.
Valle Orco Climbing Festival
At the end of September, we took part in the legendary Valle Orco Climbing Festival, one of the most anticipated events of the year. This international gathering is the reference point for traditional and bouldering climbing enthusiasts, immersed in the majestic walls of Valle Orco, at the foot of Gran Paradiso. Monvic brought a new collection of technical clothing and, as always, the legendary PADGAME contest, which attracted many participants and made the experience even more fun.
Looking Ahead: Monvic Events 2025
After such an intense and exciting year, we are already looking ahead to 2025. New events, new challenges, and, above all, new opportunities to meet our fantastic community of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. Monvic will continue to support the climbing world and carry forward its values of sustainability and respect for the environment.
