Where will we be climbing this year?
2026 has just begun, and with it comes that familiar craving for rock, crashpads, and new walls to explore. From alpine valleys and villages turned vertical playgrounds, to seaside crags and town squares overtaken by boulders, this year’s calendar of events for climbers and outdoor lovers looks as exciting as ever.
Gatherings, festivals, street bouldering, World Cups, talks, post-dyno beers and DJ sets under the stars.
Whether you’re a trad enthusiast, a boulder junkie, or just love the mountains with chalky hands, here’s a (constantly updated!) selection of the must-go events across Italy and Europe in 2026.

Melloblocco 2026
6–9 May
Melloblocco is much more than just an event—it’s a collective ritual. Since 2004, it has drawn climbers from around the world to the granite boulders of Val di Mello and Val Masino. No rankings, no competition: just bouldering, nature, and the joy of climbing together—from young newcomers to World Cup athletes, and everyone in between.
Here, climbing happens where rock meets forest, meadows, and rivers—sharing moves, attempts, and smiles. Melloblocco is also about respecting the environment: it enhances what already exists, without adding new areas, in order to preserve a unique natural heritage and keep enjoying it responsibly.

Finale for Nepal 2026

Finale For Nepal is one of those events that brings together what truly matters: climbing, people, and purpose. This gathering brings climbing to the heart of Finale Ligure, with the sea as a backdrop and a community united in support of solidarity projects in Nepal.
From boulders and public competitions to laid-back hangouts, the vibe is always just right—open, welcoming, and real. It’s a festival that invites you to climb together, share stories, and remember that sport can also be a powerful tool for support and connection.
As always, Finale For Nepal is more than just climbing—it’s about participation, respect, and the drive to make a difference.

Outdoormix Festival 2026
22–25 May
More than a festival—an explosion of sport, music, and adrenaline. Outdoormix Festival returns to Embrun for a colossal edition, featuring over ten outdoor disciplines—from MTB dirt to pumpfoil, slackline to paragliding—and a village that transforms into a true capital of adventure.
Between shows, contests, live sets, and athletes from all over the world, the vibe is pure energy. It’s not (yet) a Monvic event, but we had to mention it—this one’s a must for anyone who loves living the outdoor life in all its forms.

Petzl Frankenjura Climbing Festival 2026
4–7 June
Climbing, nature, and natural pools! The Petzl festival returns to the heart of Frankenjura for four days of climbing, workshops, yoga, music, and gear testing among the meadows and crags of Königstein. This international gathering lets every climber find their flow—through talks, bouldering, and cold beers in the open air. And if the weather turns? Who cares—climb, dance, share.

Annot à Bloc 2026
6–7 June
Two days of bouldering among legendary cracks, chestnut forests, and an atmosphere steeped in pure passion. Annot à Bloc is the ideal weekend for anyone who loves climbing on real rock, set in one of the most iconic locations in southern France.

Oh My Bloc 2026
13–14 June
Just a stone’s throw from Paris, yet worlds away from the city chaos: Oh My Bloc is the festival that brings urban climbers into the heart of nature. Natural boulders, workshops, contests, and moments for both kids and grown-ups—all wrapped in a super welcoming vibe. Perfect for those who want to discover (or rediscover) the beauty of bouldering in its purest and most authentic form.

IFSC CLIMBING WORLD CUP – CHAMONIX 2026
10–12 July
Where climbing meets the spotlight. At the foot of Mont Blanc, Chamonix hosts one of the most iconic World Cup stops: Lead and Speed, high-octane adrenaline, and breathtaking views. Admission is free, the crowd is international, and the atmosphere… simply legendary. Monvic’s presence is still TBC – but keep an eye out: we might just pop up between two walls. 😉

Tout à Blocs 2026
20–25 July
A festival, a competition, a climbing holiday: Tout à Blocs is *the* summer bouldering event. From open qualifiers to starry-sky finals, live music to gatherings on the rocks of Ailefroide—the vibe is all about fun, connection, and climbing at any hour.
Pros and amateurs come together in a celebration of bouldering passion at every level. TAB is pure energy… and might just become a Monvic stop very soon.

Boulders, beers, and the Gran Paradiso: Granpablok returns for two laid-back days of climbing in the wild beauty of Valsavarenche. With yoga sessions, a kids’ area, and evening DJ sets, it’s the perfect meetup for those who love bouldering without the pressure.

Trofeo Kima 2026
22 August
Even if we’re not climbing… we’re flying! The Trofeo Kima is one of the most spectacular skyrunning races in the world: 52 km across moraines, ridges, and snowfields – for true mountain heroes.
The 2026 edition returns as a Merrell Skyrunner® World Series stage and promises intense emotions in a landscape we know well and love deeply.
Monvic will be there – because when your heart races, it doesn’t matter whether you’re wearing climbing shoes or trail runners.

Frasassi Climbing Festival 2026
27–30 August
Europe’s biggest street bouldering event is back with jaw-dropping numbers and one solid fact: Monvic will be there! 💥 This year, we might even be signing the official t-shirt… and we’re already hyped.
The Frasassi Climbing Festival is much more than a sporting event: it’s a gathering of outdoor souls, a four-day celebration filled with boulders, caving, yoga, aperitifs, concerts, and inspiring encounters.
Whether you’re here to climb, listen, dance, or simply soak in the vibe — you’ll find your place.
With the full Monvic crew and a killer lineup, FCF2026 is shaping up to be unmissable.

Valle Orco Climbing Festival - VOCF 2026
24–27 September
Five years of epic climbs, muddy mosh pits, shared beers, and huge grins. The VOCF isn’t just a festival — it’s our second vertical home. Trad and boulder meet in the wild heart of Valle Orco, with workshops, DJ sets, iconic blocs, and the most punk climbing community in Italy. Monvic will be there, as always, with our booth, fresh gear, and the legendary PADGAME contest. Spoiler alert: this year, we’re raising the bar. 🎲💪
